If you struggle to follow food recipes, then the visual recipes by Trinidad & Tobago-born architect Vernelle Noel should be easier to follow. These adorable illustrations guide you with images and arrows to cook a delicious meal.
From sangria to crab cakes, these cute cooking instructions look confusing to follow at first, but once you decipher their order and pattern of organization, everything makes sense. The ingredients are located on one side of the page, and the preparation on the other, every step organized by numbers. Drew in a yellow notebook page, this series of animated food guides will sure cure any signs of mageirocophobia (fear of cooking).
The quality of the illustrations and the typography are probably the best part of these art pieces by Vernelle Noel, since I haven't dared to try the recipes as of yet.
