Velvet Taco Launches First Loyalty Program, The Velvet Room

Velvet Taco, a Dallas-based Mexican restaurant chain, has announced the launch of its first-ever loyalty program dubbed the 'The Velvet Room.' The new rewards-based program was developed in partnership with Thanx, a leading guest engagement platform targeted towards brick-and-mortar retailers.

The new development belongs to Velvet Tacos' broader goal to revamp its technology stack to improve guest experiences. The Velvet Room comes with a tier-based loyalty program, a mobile app, and a unique online ordering experience.

Using the new loyalty program, guests will earn points towards specific playfully named tiers such as 'Kick Ass' and 'Bad Ass.' In addition, guests who spend over $400 unlock the 'Hard Ass' tier, which features exclusive "surprise and delight rewards," including major items like a paid-for trip to Dallas.
