Tesco's vegetable steaks were developed in response to consumer demand for meat-free BBQ options that go beyond corn on the cob. As a result, the grocer developed Cauliflower steaks and portobello mushroom burgers that can be thrown on the BBQ and grilled to the customer's liking. For added flavor, the cauliflower is drizzled with a tangy lemon and garlic marinate, while the portobello mushroom is finished with a flavorful peppercorn sauce.
