The Fall 2020 collection from Gus Modern features vegan leather furniture made from AppleSkin Leather, a material that's made from upcycled apple cores and peels. The couches and chairs in the collection offer an eco-friendly and ethically made alternative to traditional leather, all the while delivering modern styles that will suit today's homes.
Notably, AppleSkin Leather is manufactured in Italy and it comes from by-products of the apple juice industry. In addition to working with this bio-based material, Gus Modern also favors the use of an FSC-certified wood and cushion fill made from recycled plastic bottles.
The vegan leather furniture is offered in colors like cognac and licorice, and due to current circumstances, the company is offering digital appointments from its Toronto-based showroom.
