At CES 2024, OtterBox unveiled its newest innovation, a new tech accessory case material that looks and feels like leather but is made from cactus leather. The alternative Symmetry Series Cactus Leather is used to protect phones, Apple Watch Bands and MagSafe wallets, and it will be available soon online via OtterBox, and select retailers and carriers.
"We've teamed up with Adriano di Marti to source this innovative cactus-based biomaterial that is durable, beautiful and sustainable to create a product unlike any other for both brands," says OtterBox CEO JC Richardson, "These cases look good, feel good and you can feel good about using it, too."
Developed from sustainable, eco-friendly organic material made from Nopal cactus, this new material is not only used in mobile accessories but also in clothing, footwear and purses.
