U.K.-based vegans rejoice this week as Boursin officially announces the launch of its vegan Garlic & Herbs cheese spread, a highly popular product that has only been available in the United States so far.
Following its initial launch this December, the plant-based cream cheese spread will be rolled out to additional retailers nationwide in February 2022. According to the company, Boursin recognized there was a gap in the U.K vegan cheese market "for specialty options," which is why they set out to deliver the product as quickly as possible.
The spread is made from sunflower oil and provides strong flavors of garlic, chives, and parsley. ”Boursin Plant-Based delivers the delicious Boursin-inspired taste consumers know and love, without compromising on indulgence and delicious flavor,” said Senior Brand Manager, Célina Leroyer in a recent press release.
