The vegan cheesecake recipe has a smooth and creamy texture that is closer to a "silken cashew tart" than a traditional cream cheese cheesecake. The filling is made with a number of yummy ingredients including raw cashews, maple syrup and a number of spices that mimic a chai tea flavor. The earl grey fig sauce is made with tea bags, plus dried figs, lemon juice, maple syrup and boiling water.
