Vans debuted its latest footwear model entitled 'Varix WC' with a retro design aesthetic -- the entire silhouette boasts nostalgic elements from early 2000s skate culture. This concept translates through its chunky design whilst also tapping some more contemporary design accents. There is a selection of three colorway options in total -- a multicolor one, a black option and a white option. Notably, the Varix WC sneakers are the first-ever lifestyle footwear piece that has incorporated WaffleCup technology.
The sneakers are constructed in three pieces, with a footbed that boasts UltraCush Lite elements to give it a comfortable soft feeling with every step, the aforementioned WaffleCup technology to elevate its sturdiness, a cold cement component, all of which rounds out with a vulcanized midsole, toe cap and heel clip.
