Cabletime introduced the ScreenDock, a USB-C docking hub with an integrated 5.5-inch 720p display designed to function as a compact secondary monitor. Connected through a single USB-C cable, Mac and Windows computers recognize the screen as an external display for widgets, chats, image previews, tutorials or other desktop content.
The ScreenDock features adjustable tilt, three brightness levels and a fold-flat design for travel. Its connectivity options include 100W USB-C pass-through charging, 1 Gbps Ethernet, SD and microSD card slots, multiple USB ports and HDMI output supporting a second external display at up to 4K/60 Hz. Cabletime launched the product on Kickstarter at an early price of $119, below its expected $169 MSRP.
For hybrid workers, the design combines everyday port expansion with a persistent companion display, helping reduce desk clutter while supporting more flexible multitasking setups.
