Cactus-Inspired Urban Skyscrapers

This Danish Skyscraper Features a Spiky Facade Design

The 'Kaktus Towers' are a truly striking new pair of urban skyscrapers, being designed by none other than the internationally renowned Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in its founders home country of Denmark, whose name is well and truly a result of the fact that the buildings feature a facade akin to the shape of giant cacti.

Each tower measures in at a height of 80 meters, with the complex including residential apartments, a hotel as well as an IKEA store. Specifically, the building will contain nearly 500 micro-apartments that will all offer stunning views of the city and its waterfront.

In addition to making for a stunningly memorable exterior aesthetic when viewed from up close or from afar, the unique facade shape of this urban skyscraper also ensures that units are all treated to unobstructed views of the surrounding area.
