A project titled 'Indoor Garden' by designer Davorin Mesaric makes urban planting and fresh eating more accessible to those living in compact apartments.
The benefits of greenery are undeniable, however, most apartments don't provide the ideal conditions for one to grow fresh fruit and vegetables. In order to allow more city-dwellers to reap the benefits of indoor greenery, this design equips individuals with 16 growing pods, which can house various fruits, veggies or herbs. The pods are lit by florescent lights, which replicates the natural solar spectrum, meaning the greenery can thrive in any season.
The stackable pods provide an ideal environment for the vegetation, without taking up too much space, serving as the perfect apartment companion.
