The Universal Kids Scissor has been designed by Valkiria Creative Intelligence for Faber Castell as an accessory for young creatives that will offer them a way to safely express their creativity. The scissors feature a rounded arc handle that makes them easier to hold in the hand and allows users to simply squeeze them to perform cuts instead of having to keep their fingers looped. This will allow children and potentially even those with accessibility issues to easily use the scissors for a creative project, while the locking design also enhances safety to keep little hands away from the blades.

The Universal Kids Scissor is designed in black, blue and red color options, and is the winner of the 2020 iF Design Award.
