Brooklyn-based designer Carla Robertson has created a line of unisex eyewear that is intended to appeal to both men and women. Inspired by vintage designs and contemporary colors, the new eyewear line manages to exude a nostalgic, yet modern feel.
The debut collection is limited to just one circular style, which is inspired by the folk music of the 1960s. The unusual geometry of the glasses is complemented with the use of bold colors, such as electric blue, deep purple and acid orange. Beyond the boldly colored frames, the glasses also come with a choice of two bespoke lens colors. As Robertson explains, the idea behind using one color on the inside and a different color on the outside is to change your impression of each color.
The fun eyewear is unisex, meaning both men and women can sport these bold and colorful shades.
