Dekleva Gregorič Architects is a Slovak firm that created this unique bookshelf design as a part of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016.

The wooden shelves expand the space of the room, even incorporating a door-sized entrance in order to allow for more shelving space and to keep up its aesthetically pleasing continuum. The company's unique bookshelf design was made to cradle readers in its shelves, as well as books. It offers various nooks where readers can sit and read as they climb up.

The shelves are built around one another, making it look like its own cozy room. Set up in the national Biennale pavilion, the shelves are placed in in front of a large window that offers the exhibit a warm and natural light. Visitors of the exhibition are welcomed to climb the shelves and read through the 300 books that were hand-chosen by the architects involved.
