Unimatic x Maxfield U3S-M chronograph is a fully blacked-out mechanical watch built around contrast through material rather than color. The 41.5 millimeter stainless steel case and bracelet are coated in matte black DLC for reduced reflectivity and added durability. A Swiss automatic Sellita SW510 BHb movement powers the chronograph with a 62-hour power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 300 meters, reinforcing its positioning as a functional tool watch rather than a purely visual statement.

The dial, subdials, hands, and indices remain uniformly black to emphasize cohesion over legibility theatrics. Sapphire crystals protect both the front and exhibition caseback. Produced in a limited run of 30 pieces, the release frames scarcity as part of its design identity. The collaboration reflects a growing demand for restrained luxury rooted in industrial form and mechanical credibility.
