Soccer Star Gary Neville's Underground Country Mansion

— January 29, 2010 — Eco
Gary Neville, a UK soccer star, has extravagant plans to build a $13 million eco-friendly, underground country mansion. Once built the abode, designed by Make Architects, will have little environmental impact on the surrounding areas.

The 8,000-sq-ft luxury underground country mansion will be located in Lancashire, England. It looks like a petaled flower with different rooms existing in the ‘petals’ placed around a central kitchen area.

Powered by solar panels, a ground source heat pump and a wind turbine, this underground country mansion will also supply its extra energy to power Neville’s neighbouring property and the national grid.
