Airbnb has introduced the 'Ultimate Gladiator Experience' at the Colosseum in partnership with Paramount Pictures, celebrating the release of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II. This exclusive after-hours event, guided by Host Lucius, offers participants a chance to immerse themselves in ancient gladiatorial traditions within the historic Colosseum in Rome, Italy.

The experience begins as guests are greeted by a host outside the arena and led inside; they will then "descend into the hypogeum, or underground chambers, where they choose their gladiator persona and armor." Afterward, participants explore the torch-lit passageways once walked by ancient warriors. The experience continues with a live demonstration by professional gladiators, followed by an opportunity for guests to learn and test basic combat techniques themselves.
