Uber Eats Launches an AI Chatbot to Help Improve User Experiences

Uber Eats is expected to launch a new artificial intelligence chatbot on its food delivery platform. The new chatbot is designed to bolster user engagement by offering tailored recommendations, answering queries, and connecting users with the restaurants they love most. Uber Eats hopes that through this integration, it will be able to save its customers time and money.

The Uber Eats chatbot will go live in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada in the coming months. Uber Eats also has plans to launch more payment methods, including EBT/SNAP, as a way to recruit a wider number of consumers.

“Helping to improve access to quality food is incredibly important to our work at Uber, and we’re proud to use Uber’s technology and extensive local delivery networks to offer SNAP recipients the ability to use their benefits to access fresh groceries conveniently from our app in 2024,” said Therese Lim, senior director of product, Uber Eats New Verticals and Uber Direct.
