The Twist Bike is a flexible bicycle concept that anticipates the various needs of its rider. It features a unique frame that allows the seat and handles to swivel in place so that the entire bicycle becomes reversed.
Conceived by Spanish architect-turned-designer José Hurtado, the Twist Bike is very minimalist. It features single arms in place of two to keep each tire in place; the tires also happen to be hubless. With these two very important details, the Twist Bike can accommodate another frame, which successfully turns it into a tandem bicycle fit for two people. As the designer puts is, "Twist [is] not just a bike, [it] is a union between people."
An intuitive design, the Twist Bike also boasts easy-to-use quick release tires.
