Wheel-Wedging Folding Bicycles

The 'Tuck Bike' Can Be Folded At Both Its Frame and Its Wheels

Folding bicycles are a dime a dozen in today's two-wheeler marketplace, but a California-based engineer and innovator by the name of Alex Animashaun has gone ahead and created a truly spectacular and unique bicycle that doesn't simply fold on its frame, but also manages to fold its 700cc wheels.

Aptly named the 'Tuck Bike,' this particular folding bicycle is outfitted with wheels that make use of foam tires. The wheel uses a stacking mechanism that allows it to be folded in conjunction with a rim-set clamp that can be slid out and in as required and tightened in order to keep the stack together.

What's more, this bike can be folded not just in one but in two unique ways depending on how narrow or substantial your storage space is. It can even be folded down into a shape that's small enough to be stashed in a car trunk or under a desk.

Available on Kickstarter for a pledge of $1,695, this folding bicycle aims to take compactness and space-saving storage tendencies to a completely new level.
