One of the annoying things about doing laundry is that you often have to run multiple loads, for example a load of darks and a load of lights; however LG's TWIN Wash laundry system, introduced at CES 2015, makes it possible for you to wash two loads simultaneously.
The key to this new system is the Mini Washer, a washing machine that sits beneath any LG full-size front-loading washer and acts as a pedestal of sorts for the larger machine. The Mini Washer is pulled out like a drawer from underneath the front-loading machine; users can then chuck in their clothes and detergent and run a load separate from the one in the main front-loading machine.
The TWIN Wash system is particularly useful for delicate clothing, which is better suited towards the Mini Washer than a regular full-size machine anyway.
