Robert Pattinson Inspires “Black Balloon” b

‘Twilight’ has inspired a vampire craze--and corresponding Robert Pattinson mania--like no other, and this music video for “Black Balloon” by The Kills is the latest addition to the madness.
Although the actual song “Black Balloon” is easy on the ears, the imagery certainly isn’t. The references to ‘Twilight’ are clear; about halfway through the song, Alison Mosshart’s fangs are revealed. Towards the end, we see a man lying on the floor, a casualty to Mosshart’s bloody cravings--have she and Robert Pattinson exchanged roles, perhaps?
The video for The Kills’ “Black Balloon” was directed by former fashion photographer Kenneth Cappello.
