These assorted branch and twig colored pencils are made from real trees. Each pencil is unique, but approximately 7 inches long. The rustic design turns the writing implements into a decorative display, but they also work well for sketching and coloring in and out of the lines.
The twig colored pencils can't be sharpened with a regular pencil sharpener because graphite does not run throughout the core as it does with standard pencils, colored or otherwise. The graphite is inserted at the tip and the length of each varies. Each set comes with ten pencils each, in a variety of hues.
