Solina Announces Acquisition of Twang Foodservice

Solina — a global partner in ingredient solutions for the food industry — recently announced that it has acquired Twang Foodservice, a San Antonio-based developer of beverage flavor systems and dry beverage mixes. The latter entity works with quick-service restaurants, coffee houses, convenience stores, and other foodservice operators across North America.

The acquisition of Twang Foodservice allows Solina to enter the rapidly growing beverage category, adding expertise in creating customized drink concepts that combine flavor, texture, and visual appeal. From iced coffee with Mexican chocolate cold foam and mango-layered lemonades to mocktails finished with cinnamon sugar rims, consumers are sure to reap the benefits of creatively layered and high-quality drinks.
