The Turtle Inn has a history that's not all sunshine and butterflies.

The seaside sanctuary was destroyed by Hurricane Iris less than one year after being acquired by Frances and Eleanor Coppola. Restoring the Inn was a process that took almost two years, but it was worth every second. The couple owners have created a luxurious seaside resort that is a go-to haven for vacationers who want to treat themselves.

The balmy hideaway features 25 rooms and thatched cottages that make use of the beautiful seafront panorama. In addition to the Caribbean Sea, just a hop, skip and a jump away from the luxury dwellings, the resort features two infinity pools. Inside, the spaces are decorated with Balinese furnishings crafted by hand for an individualistic Island touch.
