Ahead of this year's Thanksgiving celebrations in the US, Concepts and Nike collaborated on a new sneaker model called the Nike SB Dunk High ‘TurDUNKen.'
Taking design cues from the bizarre dish that consists of a deboned chicken that's stuffed into a deboned duck, and finally stuffed into a deboned turkey, the sneakers feature feathery texturing and a colorway that combines hues of brown, charcoal, cream, orange, yellow, and green. The sneakers come packaged in a box that's made to emulate the appearance of an oven, complete with billowing smoke.
Concept's Creative Director Deon Point spoke to the release, stating "We’ve definitely never taken ourselves too seriously,” and “The thing with us that always gets overlooked is our sense of humor. We love to have fun.”
