Trek Launches a New Range of Low-Sugar Protein Bars

UK-based protein bar pioneer Trek is reshaping the sports nutrition landscape with the launch of a bold new range of high-protein, low-sugar bars, made entirely from naturally sourced ingredients. Trek’s new line delivers on performance by forgoing artificial additives in favor of a clean-label approach that meets the demands of today’s health-conscious consumers.

Flavours like Choc Caramel, Choc Peanut Butter, and a standout High Protein Biscoff® variant offer indulgent taste while delivering up to 47% less sugar, thanks to smart formulation using chicory fibre and stevia leaf extract. Each bar packs 12g–15g of plant-based protein, making it a compelling choice for athletes and active consumers.

With plant-based and low-sugar categories continuing to converge, Trek’s latest offering is well-positioned to tap into a growing appetite for functional, natural nutrition. The new range hits Sainsbury’s shelves on May 25, 2025, with wider retail rollout planned in the months ahead.
