The Traverso Table has a slight resemblance to standard road designs. The exaggerated support beam running down the middle of the tabletop is very similar to solid lines drawn on asphalt that effectively separates oncoming traffic from each other. Although it is a simple detail, it adds a beautiful, rule-abiding touch that will be appreciated by many. More than that, according to the designer, "Without the beam, the table does not exist."

Created by Italian industrial designer Francesco Faccin, the Traverso Table is made out of ash wood, which is topped by either a glass or black laminated surface. The construction of the Traverso Table may be unique, but it yields a timeless piece that is also incredibly sturdy, balanced and robust. The Traverso Table is great for both traditional and modern homes.
