The Pipamoka is a new travel coffee maker from Wacaco, the inventor of the popular Minipresso and Nanopresso portable espresso machines. This new travel-ready coffee maker sets itself apart with a first-of-its-kind twisting mechanism that uses vacuum pressure to brew coffee in a matter of minutes.
Although the Pipamoka brewing process is unique, the coffee maker is as user-friendly as ever, as it only requires adding coffee grounds to a dedicated filter basket, adding water and using the twisting mechanism. The pressure created by this system speeds up the process of making coffee on the go. As Wacaco describes, "This negative pressure generates a suction force that draws hot water downwards through the coffee grounds. The coffee is then brewed directly into the insulated thermal cup where it will stay hot for hours."
