The Toyota Yaris Cross is being launched by the brand in the UK and Europe as a transportation solution that offers the capabilities of an SUV with a stronger focus on a compact design. The vehicle comes as the second model that's based on the brand's GA-B platform and boasts an all-wheel drive system as well as Toyota's fourth-generation hybrid system. This features a maximum output of 114bhp with projected CO2 emissions starting below 120 grams per kilometer on the front-wheel drive model.
The Toyota Yaris Cross is positioned for a 2021 launch and features a wheelbase that's the same as the hatchback, but with 240mm of additional length. 30mm of additional clearance height helps the vehicle easily traverse over any landscape.
