Casio and Toyota Have Teamed Up on a New Rugged Timepiece

Casio has teamed up with Toyota to launch a Toyota Land Cruiser-themed G-SHOCK timepiece. This watch is named the 'GWG-2000TLC-1AER,' and it features a design entirely reminiscent of Toyota's Land Cruiser and motorsports as a whole.

This watch features various shades of gray, from a dark-black iron-like design on the bezel to a gray stripe design on the dial. The top of the bezel and the base of the wristband features a gray that is smeared and rugged. This design honors the difficulty and rough nature of the Land Cruiser's motorsports events. For the wristband itself, the design features a dark gray base with splashes of light gray in a pattern that resembles mud being kicked up onto a vehicle while racing in the dirt.

The timepiece is also built to be durable, similar to the vehicle it is based on. The watch features an anti-scratch face, water-resistance up to 200m, and solar power charging to ensure the watch is always powered on when you need it. The Toyota Land Cruiser timepiece is available on G-SHOCK's U.K. website for 779 Euro, or roughly USD 890.
