Casio and Toyota's Team Land Cruiser (TLC) Toyota Auto Body have collaborated to introduce the GW-9500TLC-1DR G-SHOCK watch, embodying a rally racing spirit. Derived from the MUDMAN GW-9500, this modified model features a dual-layer LCD and a robust structure resistant to dirt and grime.
Drawing inspiration from the Land Cruiser 300 GR Sport used in the Dakar Rally, the watch sports a black and red color scheme, a stainless steel bezel, and a unique brown-based band with a desert rally-inspired splatter pattern.
Notable for its LED backlight featuring a TLC graphic, this environmentally conscious timepiece incorporates solar-powered, radio-controlled movement with a digital compass, barometer, altimeter, and thermometer.
The new GW-9500TLC-1DR G-SHOCK watch will debut on Casio's UK site on February 1.
