The Too Tight Stool is a hilarious interpretation of people trying too hard to squeeze into something that is clearly not their size. Inspired by 'Cinderella,' it specifically depicts the evil step sisters attempt to force her delicate glass slipper on their big feet. The cushion, which is green with envy, may be more malleable than their feet, but it still won't be getting through the ring of the stool's metal frame.
Created by Israeli product and industrial designer Avihai Shurin, the Too Tight Stool is just as comical as the step sisters themselves. Shurin elaborates on the design, "The center button, borrowed from the upholstery world, completes the unique design, and helps the pillow 'pretending' that it’s the right one for the metal frame." Other than that, the Too Tight Stool is a simple seat.
