Snapchat Added a New Time Machine Filter That Alters the User's Age

Snapchat has a new 'Time Machine' lens, that allows users to toggle between old and young filters. If users bring the slider to the left they will appear younger, and as users bring the slider to the right they will appear older. The new Time Machine feature is available to all Snapchat users with a rear-facing camera.

Age-altering filters saw popularity this year, however, Snapchat's new filter takes more precautions with people's privacy than other apps did. Snapchat adding the new filter could increase its popularity as more people may appreciate the added privacy provided by the Snapchat platform.
