Tim Knowles Gives Trees the Tools to Paint on Canvas

Tim Knowles has allowed trees to become artists by attaching multiple pens to the tips of their branches. An artist himself, Tim Knowles enabled branches to draw, by giving them the necessary tools to do so.

Although multiple types of trees were given this opportunity, it seems as though the willow tree produced the most effective drawings.

Implications - In the last few years, there has been an increased interest in public art installations. This installations bring high-minded art to the public in an effort to disassociate the stereotype that art is simply the domain of the elite.
