Spooky Doll Sculptures

These Eerie Doll Sculptures are Tim Burton-Inspired

Creative sculptor Ana Salvador is responsible for these eerie Tim Burton-inspired doll sculptures. Salvador also paints and draws, but her true passion is sculpting. These fantastically creepy dolls are off-putting, but extremely hard to look away from.

Each of Ana’s doll sculptures have their own unusual little personalities. Some look sickly and sweet, while others look gloomy or unhappy. These bizarre dolls definitely evoke emotions in the viewer. They make you feel uneasy, heart broken and in some cases, even hopeful.

These dolls are meant to capture innocence and strangeness. I would say that they do. Some of these dolls look like they are wealthy. They are wearing nice dresses and their hair is perfectly brushed. Other dolls have disheveled hair, sunken in eyes and tattered clothing. What’s neat is that the wealthy dolls look depressed, while the sickly dolls look almost hopeful.
