Mobvoi recently unveiled its TicHome Mini, which takes the form of a small-scale smart home device with the Google Assistant.
Unlike many smart speakers that are being introduced to the market, this battery-operated one boasts a pod-like wireless design and an integrated strap that encourages portability. With this device, users are able to use the "OK Google" command to initiate everything from music playlists to smart home controls and setting alarms. With the TicHome Mini, users will also be able to seamlessly place orders for food, as well as preview their digital calendar at a glance. Upon launch, Mobvoi promises that its device may be purchased for under $100 and in a range of fun colors.
At IFA, the consumer electronics show in Berlin, Google announced two other new speakers alongside the TicHome Mini that feature its Google Assistant: the Zolo Mojo by Anker and Panasonic's GA10.
