The Thuraya SatSleeve will allow users to connect to networks from anywhere in the world. While standard service providers enable smartphones to work while linked in to ground-based infrastructure, this case tethers smartphones with Thuraya’s satellites.
As Thuraya has coverage spanning approximately two-thirds of the globe, there are very few places that one would lose service when using a SatSleeve.
Calls can be made from the most remote of regions by simply turning on the SatSleeve switch. And if the extensive coverage provided was not enough, it also features a microphone, an external battery charger and an emergency call feature. The device has therefore covered all the bases required by travelers headed to isolated parts of the world.
