Gangster Hand Sculptures

The 'Throw 'Em Up' Series is Deceivingly White-Washed

Who knew gangster hand signals could be art? 'Throw 'Em Up' proves that this is in fact the case. Simple, direct and without the territorial, emotional drive that is usually behind such hand signs, it is an interesting subject to undertake.

Created by Dana Park Weiser, the 'Throw 'Em Up' sculpture collection is made out of plaster, steel and white paint. It is comprised of four pieces: Crip, LA, Westside, Blood, I've had Enough, and Echo Park.
