The World's Biggest Heists Infographic Details the Top Four Capers

The world's biggest heists infographic details some of the most criminally lucrative robberies of all time.

Presented by HomeSecuritySystem.com, the graphic lists four heists that took place in the art scene, at a bank and at a diamond purveyor.

Topping off the list was the $100 Million worth of goods lifted from the Antwerp Diamond Center in February of 2003. The vault was believed to be impenetrable and was outfitted with Doppler radar, a magnetic field, 10 layers of security and a lock that had over 100 million possible combinations. Police still do not know how it was pulled off and to this day, the stolen goods have not been recovered.

The robbery of the Central Bank of Iraq in 2003 saw criminals making off with a massive haul of $100 Billion -- $650 Million of which was later found in the walls of Saddam Hussein's palace and the rest is still unaccounted for.
