The W.I.N.D. House is a stunning single family home by UNStudio that combines several modern home innovations including sustainable solutions and home automation. Located on the outskirts of a North Holland town and with impressive proximity to the sea that offers a panoramic views of both, The W.I.N.D. House utilizes vertical organization in its design and has four distinct facades.
The W.I.N.D. House boasts plenty of a total home control panel in the central living area that controls the electrical systems as well as the solar panels. Sustainability speaking, the home has mechanical ventilation with waste heat recovery and a central air/water heat pump, while tinted windows help cut back on heat gain.
The W.I.N.D. House, a four-year project by UNStudio, designed the home with the intent to respond to both its natural setting and the seasons.
