By combining the efforts of businesses, government and nonprofits, the Urban Forest Map charts the trees in the San Francisco area. The point of this project is to plan for the future by understanding what the current state of the urban forest is.

With the use of crowdsourcing, the Urban Forest Map lets users find trees, edit trees and add their own trees to the ever-growing map of the trees in your own neighborhood.
