The Speakerplug from Designit Makes Setting Up a Sound System a Snap

— December 10, 2012 — Art & Design
The Speakerplug is designed for audiophiles who can't quite seem to keep their desks clean/OCD types who can't stand clutter. The unique speaker eliminates clutter by cutting out the middleman, in this case a remote and wires. The Speakerplug was created by Danish design firm Designit.

The Speakerplug has a built-in receiver that lets it wirelessly play audio from smartphones, TVs and computers. A plug-and-play wireless speaker would be great for those who can't seem to keep their computer's USB ports empty. Also, as mentioned earlier, a speaker with no wires and no remote reduces desk/household clutter. Setting up a home audio system would be a lot easier to do if all you had to worry about was finding an empty outlet.
