Two sisters from Dubuque, Iowa, recently started a clothing line called 'The Midwest Girl' that helps women show off their regional pride. While the brand originally began with T-shirts, the sisters are now opening a brick-and-mortar store that will showcase their stylish, yet budget-friendly clothing line.

The Midwestern Girl is a clothing line that primarily consists of graphic T-shirts and tank tops. Many of the shirts include state-specific graphics for places such as Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. The idea behind the shirts is to give women an easy way to show off their regional pride via recognizable symbols such as the shape of their home state. As Droessler explains, "We realized that people from the Midwest are proud of where they are from. We wanted to create a T-shirt that allowed girls to showcase that pride." In addition to the shirts, The Midwestern Girl will also offer denim and clothing accessories such as charm bracelets at its new store.
