Starbucks Reserve Shanghai Roastery introduces a new brew dubbed the Lucky Savory Latte that is comprised of coffee beans and pork flavors. It pushes the boundaries of the combination as the pork-flavored drink joins the menu for the Lunar New Year.

The palette fuses rich espresso tastes with a sauce that is developed with inspiration from Dongpo pork -- this is a dish that dates back to the 11th-century poet. It is topped with steamed milk and a drizzle of the aforementioned sauce then finished off with a pork slice on a skewer. The Lucky Savory Latte is exclusively available at the Starbucks Reserve locations and is a part of the gourmet offerings by the locations.
