Last year we brought you Japan's plans and pricing for building a life-sized Gundam Robot, and now it has actually been created.

The enormous Gundamn Robot resembles the robots from “Transformers” and stands 59 feet tall in the heart of Tokyo.

Open to the public in July, this giant Gundamn Robot will certainly be the centre of attraction for many travelers this summer.

Implications - Designers are incorporating much more pop culture elements into their work because they recognize that the familiarity and branding established by television characters has a powerful and empathetic effect on consumers. As such, corporations looking to evoke specific pathos out of their consumers can benefit from collaborating with corporations who own particular pop culture icons associated with specific emotions.
