The Greenwich turntable is a carbon-composite direct-drive deck produced by British manufacturer Wilson Benesch, serving as the foundation model within the company's GMT Collection. The unit is built around a patent-pending OMEGA Direct Drive motor, a 15-inch slotless synchronous motor developed in collaboration with academic engineering partners, designed to minimize torque ripple, eliminate cogging, and remove lateral bearing forces so the bearing operates under purely axial load conditions.

Speed is managed by the ALPHA Drive control system, which uses quartz-referenced Class A electronics and supports playback at 33, 45, and 78 RPM. A companion app enables fine-grained speed adjustment and nanometer-scale vertical tracking-angle control. The Greenwich turntable will make its first major European public appearance at HIGH END Vienna, running June 4–7 at the Austria Center Vienna. The show marks the first Austrian edition of the exhibition, which previously ran annually in Munich.
