The Glasgow Distillery Company unveiled the launch of three limited-edition whiskies. Each whiskey in the launch is a cask-finished variant of the company's 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The three new spirits are individually numbered and will launch on Glasgow Distillery's website on November 18th, 2021.
The new whisky variants include the Ruby Port Cask Finish, the Triple Distilled Tokaji Cask Finish, and the Peated Sauternes Cask Finish. Glasgow Distillery's new spirits are non-chill-filtered for an exquisite taste. The Ruby Port boasts a balanced sweet and fruity flavor with notes of strawberries and cream, while the Tokaji uses Hungarian dessert wine casks to impart honeyed notes of toffee. The Sauternes Cask is an expression matured in French dessert wine casks, presenting a smoky barbecue finish.
