Heatless Clothes Dryers

The DryMate Uses Vacuum Condensation to Dry Clothes

The days of a dryer using heat to dry clothes may be coming to a close. The DryMate from Nico Klaeber is a concept dryer that uses vacuum condensation to dry clothes.

The DryMate would save on energy costs and help preserve the integrity of clothes dried in it. The only downside I can see from using the DryMate is that it would eliminate that indescribable feeling of putting on a pair of pants or a t-shirt fresh from the dryer. That feeling of warmth during a cold, harsh winter can’t be replicated anywhere else.
