Circus Tent-Inspired Holiday Homes

Cubo Design Architect Designs the Circus Home in Japan

Hitoshi Saruta from Tokyo-based design studio Cubo Design Architect unveils a look at the Circus holiday home that is inspired by a circus tent. It is commissioned by a client with the vision of housing its collection of cars and wanted a space to highlight the range.

Inside the space boasts a wide and open design and the exterior features a dark tonal palette. The tensile structure adds a mysterious aesthetic to the place and is meant to enable the client to "spend time with cars." The architect behind the project notes that β€œIn contrast to a typical house with a built-in garage, the aim here was to blur the boundaries between people, cars, and rooms in a relaxed environment,”
